Book Review:

Shakuntala Devi was an Indian novelist, poet and short story writer. She is most famous for her book, Memory. In this book, she describes her personal experience of losing her memory. She also challenges the reader to confront his fears in order to improve his quality of life. By doing so, he will learn to be more compassionate and self-aware.

In her book, Memory, Shakuntala Devi describes the experience she had with memory loss. She was just forty-nine years old when she wrote this book. At that time, she had just been diagnosed with a serious illness.

She was bedridden for several months and lost her memory. Throughout her illness, she learned to read and write again. After recovering from her illness, Shakuntala Devi wrote about her experience with memory loss.

She encouraged other people who have suffered from memory loss to do the same. This way, the world is able to understand and overcome the same illnesses that have challenged them.

Through her book, Memory, Shakuntala Devi encourages the reader to confront his fears. He starts off by describing his memory loss accidently as a child. He then shares his experience with a diagnosable illness as a young adult.

By doing so, he forces himself to confront his fears and overcome his difficulties. In doing so, he will learn to be more self-compassionate and capable of living an effective life.

In the book, Memory, Shakuntala Devi uses animals to teach humankind about life and the world around them. She explains that all living things share many similar qualities and characteristics.

For example, all living things need food and water to survive. All living things have to reproduce their species.

In addition, all living things need shelter to protect themselves from the elements and predators. Essentially, humans are just like animals when it comes to these basics of survival; they need shelter and food as well as and companionship.

Based on Shakuntala Devi's experiences in losing her memory, she wrote a powerful book about overcoming adversity in life. She encouraged others to confront their fears in order to better their quality of life.

By doing so, they will learn to be more compassionate and self-aware individuals. Furthermore, she uses animal metaphors to illustrate how humans are just like animals when it comes to protecting themselves from fear and hardship in life.
